MILWAUKEE — Marquette University has decided to rescind a student's admission and athletic scholarship due to a social media post about George Floyd's police custody death, and subsequent protests around the country. A high school class of 2020 student was supposed to head to Marquette come fall on an athletic scholarship. That scholarship has since been revoked after the student made a post on Snapchat about Floyd's death.
